Brand presence on the Internet is an advantage in comparison with advertising offline

Off-line media are losing the battle to the internet in Ukraine. According to the report presented by Marketing Group OS-Direct Managing Partner Lilya Gorelaya at the Trade Mission to Ukraine for remote companies and e-commerce, which took place in Odessa on September 20-21, 2012, the market growth rate of advertising in the press and on the Internet can not be compared. Though growth is present in the offline and online but the latter is far ahead of his older rival.

On the example of a single brand Bon Prix and its experience with the audience through a social network Vkontakte Lily Gorelaya demonstrated the achievements of the page, that was launched more than a year ago – on the 1st of September 2011:

  •   1.5 months – 2,500 fans (who found the page themselves);
  •   mailing to the customer database brought 10,000 fans;
  •   natural activity of a growth rate of 1000 fans in 20-25 days;
  •   today the   page has over 31,500 fans.
