Uanet audience grows according to seasonal trends

A lot fewer people spend time in the open air in winter than in summer. Therefore, those who are surfing the net, should be more in the cold season. It is not a theory, but the real statistics of InMind. It is found that seasonal audience variations have been noticeable since 2002, and since 2007 such fluctuations have become numerous. Now the difference in the amount of summer and winter Uanet audience is noticeable, as they say, to the naked eye.

It has been found that the seasonal peak is reached in February. At that time, the number of people who regularly use the Internet does not increase to such an extent, but a lot more time is spent in the network than in the fall or summer. Starting with February Ukrainians spend less time on the Internet. It continues to decline until July – the holiday, rest and travel season. At this time, the audience network decreases, the amount of time spent on the Internet reaches a minimum. At the moment, the audience continues to move confidently to a seasonal peak.

Even if you take the individual sites, the seasonal trends for them will also be clearly seen. For example, the coverage of Google is the lowest in the period from May till August, but the peak of users activity falls for the site not only in February, when Ukrainians spend more time at home, but also in September, when the holidays are over and pupils and students return to school and start preparing for classes . The same pattern is observed in seasonal activity on Yandex, but with regard to a Rambler, its audience is more mature and this explains the fact that the seasonal activity increases only in winter, but not in September.

If we talk about the popular social networks, the situation is almost similar to seasonal fluctuations of Google and Yandex audience. Minimum activity occurs in the summer, and the maximum – in February and September. At the same time, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Facebook users in February are even more active than in September after the summer vacations. Youtube  and Wikipedia audience are also amenable to the laws of seasonal fluctuations. In summer it reaches the minimum, then there is a sharp jump in activity in September, then again, a slight decline, followed by increased activity for the winter months.
